“In each of the robberies, the individual approached the teller, presented a demand note, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash,” reads a statement issued by the bureau’s Newark Field Office.

“In most instances, the robber claimed he was carrying a gun,” it says. “On three occasions, he wore either a grey or black hooded sweatshirt.”
He’s wore something on his head each time, including the baseball caps and a gray wool hat.
He’s described as Hispanic, medium-to-large build, about 5’8” and 170 pounds.
The bank jobs:
Sept. 27, 2012 – Valley National Bank, 748 Mt. Prospect Ave, Newark. Along with a red Yankees cap, he was wearing a white t-shirt underneath a dark long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Oct. 31, 2012 – Sovereign Bank, 466 Bloomfield Ave., Newark. He wore a black hoodie jacket, camouflage pants, and a grey wool cap.
Nov. 6, 2012 – Valley National Bank, 22 Bloomfield Ave, Belleville, NJ. He had on a grey hooded sweatshirt with a front pocket, dark pants, a grey wool cap and sneakers.
Dec. 8, 2012 – Valley National Bank, 128 Market St., Passaic. Along with the Phillies cap, the robber wore a black jacket with a white shirt underneath and sunglasses.
Feb. 23, 2013 – Valley National, Belleville (again). Clothing: Dark, hooded zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers with white soles and a red New York Yankees baseball hat.
