Police: Wayne Man Beat Puppy To Death With Chair

WAYNE, N.J. — Police accused a Wayne man of beating a 6-month-old puppy to death with a kitchen chair.

Police found the Husky puppy's blood strewn across the Travelo Drive home of 23-year-old John G. Varcadipone on Friday, Capt. Laurence Martin told Daily Voice.

Varcadipone was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and assault, Martin said.

He was being held on $75,000 bail at Passaic County Jail.
