The victims told police that four carjackers -- at least two carrying handguns -- converged on the vehicle in the 100 block of Highland Avenue around 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.
The bandits forced out the occupants -- three men, ages 21, 22 and 25, and a 20-year-old woman with the baby, they told police.
After taking some jewerly from one of the victims, the four took off in the car Bracken said.
They were described as Hispanic and in their mid 20s.
No injuries were reported.
