Paterson man charged with selling pot to Bergen undercover detectives

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Bergen County narcotics detectives busted a Paterson man who they said sold an undercover investigator more than an ounce of pot in a pair of deals.

Hector Perez, 36, was released without bail pending grand jury action on two counts of distributing marijuana during March and May.

He was also charged with possession of a small amount of Xanax that Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said was found at his home when members of his Narcotic Task Force and Paterson police arrested Perez at his home on Monday.
