Michael Harris, 29, of Paterson was charged with various drug counts after the officers stopped him for driving without his headlights on at Main and 20th Avenue before dawn Monday, Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik said.

He also received a pair of traffic summonses, the sheriff said.

The street value of the cocaine, once it was cut and packaged, would be about $2,000, he said.

Harris was processed and released on a summons to appear in Passaic County Superior Court in Paterson on Oct. 11.
