Paterson and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office also charged ex-con Clarence Williams, 26, and Gerry Thomas, 28, both of 259 Spring Street in Paterson with arson, robbery, conspiracy and weapons possession after their arrests around 11 p.m., Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
Passaic County sheriff's officers busted Williams last March 30 with what they said were 1,085 small bags of heroin, two handguns -- a .22-caliber Beretta semi-automatic handgun and a .38-caliber revolver, as well as ammunition for each -- and more than $2,500 in cash.
He later made bail records show.
The victims' bodies were found burned beyond recognition after city firefighters extinguished the blaze around 2 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of East 28th Street, police said at the time.
They were identified as Aaron Anderson, 27, and Antonio Vega, 25, both of Paterson -- and both of whom DePaola said Monday that she and her son knew.
DePaola, who owned a boutique in Allendale, said she registered the white Audi bought for her son, 27-year-old Christopher Camiscioli, in her name.
"Aaron Anderson, a friend of my son, was supposed to drop my son off at the airport, park the car and not use it," she told RadarOnline on Monday. "But he used the car and then this horrific accident happened.”
"I knew both the boys," she told TMZ, adding that she spoke to one of the mothers.
"What we're hearing is they were both were shot in the head and the car was lit on fire," DePaola said.
"These people have to be savages," she told TMZ. "I hope they catch them....They will rot in hell."
