Motorist seriously injured in Fair Lawn rear-end crash

She was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson.

Southbound Maple Avenue was closed at Elm Avenue until the victim was removed from the scene and the Malibu was towed.

Responding were Fair Lawn police and EMS workers, along with a paramedic unit from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Glen Rock police, who arrived first, secured the scene for their Fair Lawn colleagues.
