Nine businesses in all were investigated by the Lodi Police Department Narcotics Division following complaints about the illegal sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products to customers under 19, Capt. Donald Scorzetti said.
Those receiving summonses:
South Main Street Deli, 79 South Main Street
Circle Liquors, 109 Terhune Avenue
Quick Stop Deli, 93 South Main Street
Charles Street Deli, 385 Passaic Avenue
Five other businesses were checked and found in compliance, Scorzetti said:
53 South Main Street convenience store
Hometown Deli, 25 Union Street
Union Food Mart, 231 Union Street
Walgreens, 20 Arnot Place
Rafi’s Deli, 327 Main Street
