Local Bergen Police Help Nab 3 In Connection With Hawthorne Armed Robbery

HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Police who converged on the area after an armed robbery Tuesday night in Hawthorne took three men into custody moments later, law enforcement sources told Daily Voice.

Police grabbed at least one of the suspects on Diamond Bridge Avenue following the holdup in the area of Maitland Avenue that reportedly involved three men with handguns.

"It looked like they may have been headed toward [Paterson]," one responder told Daily Voice.

Glen Rock, Midland Park and Ridgewood police were among the responders.
