It will likely be less -- possibly significantly -- under New Jersey sentencing guidelines.

Tyian Edwards, 32, was being watched by detectives when he sold a woman drugs on Rosa Parks Boulevard the afternoon of April 3, 2014.

After moving in, the investigators found Edwards carrying 15 baggies of marijuana stamped with a black 8-ball and $175, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.

They also arrested the woman, who Valdes said had two bags of pot with the same stamp.

The incident occurred within a city block of Public School #10, she noted.

Jurors convicted Edwards of various drug distribution and possession charges.

Superior Court Judge Joseph A. Portelli set a March 10 sentencing date and remanded Edwards to the Passaic County Jail until then.
