Catherine Huber (MUGSHOT: Paramus PD)
Officers Paul Siemon and Dmitriy Mazur found the white 2002 Mazda near the corner of Spring Valley Road at 5:40 p.m. Monday after receiving a call from a concerned citizen.
A disoriented Catherine Huber, 29, had syringes and other drug paraphernalia with her, they said.
Huber’s adult criminal history began with a drug arrest in Fort Lee less than three months after her 18th birthday, records show. The West Paterson native was later arrested on similar offenses after running a red light in Teaneck.
Paramus police arrested her for shoplifting two years in a row, records show. After violating parole, she was back in the Bergen County Jail in February 2008. Soon after her release, Totowa police arrested Huber on shoplifting charges.
Huber spent all of a month in state prison last year for a conviction on one of the shoplifting charges, records show.
The Paramus officers last night took Huber to headquarters and charged her with several drug-related offenses.
She was then released pending a Municipal Court hearing.
