Keyantay Deas, 37, of Paterson was walking along 12th Avenue in the 300 block around 8:40 p.m. Monday when two assailants – both armed with handguns – approached and fired at him several times, authorities said.
Deas later died at the hospital, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a joint release.
