Franklin Lakes police: Son rips off $26,000 from mom, 88

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Franklin Lakes police arrested a Little Falls man who they said forged checks in his 88-year-old mother’s name and used her credit card for a total of $26,000 in losses.

Mark Cerio, 49, was arrested yesterday following an investigation by Detective Sgts. Anthony Pacelli and Jeffrey Jost.

He was later released on $25,000 bail pending a Municipal Court hearing on charges of forgery and credit card theft.
