After they caught him, Tomlinson “continued to struggle and resist the officers,” Foligno said.

They subdued and arrested him without injuries to anyone, the chief said.

Tomlinson was processed and released to Paterson police on a $1,000 warrant.

Elmwood Park police a few hours earlier arrested a Lodi couple on drug charges. Salvatore Veccia, 28, and Janice Speziale, 29, had five bags of heroin, a syringe and drug paraphernalia when they were stopped on Locust Street, Foligno said. They were released on court summonses.
