A physician at the scene was conducting CPR and administering mouth-to-mouth when Officers Robert Marks, Andrew Alvarez, and Todd Compesi arrived at the Crooks Avenue intersection around 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Lt. Robert Bracken said.
The officers administered Narcan, which revived the 30-year-old Union woman, Bracken said Tuesday. She was conscious and alert when taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, he added.
Police found 70 bags of heroin in the car, along with 38 empty bags, the lieutenant said.
They charged the driver with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and DWI.
