Couple out on bail for heroin busted on same charges in Elmwood Park

Investigators last July said that they recovered less than a half ounce of the drug during a search of the Midvale Court home of Shelby V. Zanotti, who was arrested along with her boyfriend, Vincent Celentano of Clifton.

Celentano and Zanotti were freed on $15,000 bail each after the search, which included members of the Bergen County prosecutor’s Narcotic Task Force, River Vale police, a regional SWAT team and a Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit.

Elmwood Park police on Friday night said they found 110 bags of heroin when they stopped the couple, both 22, on Locust Street.

They were charged with drug possession and released pending a court hearing.
