The attendant at Jersey Gas on Lakeview Avenue told police that three robbers -- all carrying handguns -- approached him at 4 a.m. Sunday, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.
The robbers threatened him, then took cash off him and from the station register, the attendant told police.
They fled in a vehicle, he said.
He couldn't described the vehicle or the robbers other than that they were black, Bracken said.
The amount missing was being withheld, he said.
