Jose Reyes, 42, remained held in the Passaic County Jail after being taken into custody early Saturday – charged with two counts each of aggravated assault weapons possession.
It appeared no one was struck in the Wednesday night shooting in front of Al's Ice Cream Shop on Passaic Street, authorities said.
“Police located a vehicle that appeared to have been hit by bullets, as well as shell casings,” Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman said in a joint release.
