Robert C. Hill, 60, was taken into custody last Tuesday following the robbery of a TD Bank in Hudson County, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.

Detectives from Union City and Jersey City determined that Hill also was responsible for the robbery of a Boiling Springs Bank branch at Clifton Commons just before noon on Aug. 25, Bracken said.

Clifton police issued surveillance images following that holdup.
