Clifton 37-Year-Old Who Died Suddenly Was 'Kind Soul, Good Friend'

CLIFTON, N.J. — More than $8,000 had been raised as of Thursday afternoon on a GoFundMe in memory Clifton native Elizabeth Sudol who died suddenly on Monday. She was 37 years old.

"Liz was a kind soul, and a good friend to many," said the campaign's founder, Steven Bauer. All of the funds will go toward Sudol's family to help cover funeral costs.

She is survived by her mom, JoAnn Wallster of Belleville and her sister, Barbara Sudol of Nutley.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday at the Shook Funeral Home in Clifton at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetary in South Hackensack.
