JAY C. PENNY: A Wayne police officer found heroin, crack, Ecstasy, prescription drugs and "Jungle Juice" poppers after stopping an unlicensed Lyndhurst driver who identified himself as "Jay C. Penny," authorities said Monday.

ONE STEP AT A TIME: A Hawthorne trainer is helping her quadriplegic friend learn to walk on her own 17 years after a freak accident.

BODY FOUND: Authorities who retrieved an elderly man's body Friday morning from a Morris Canal stream in Woodland Park didn't immediately say whether it was an 85-year-old resident with dementia whose family reported him missing the night before.

PATERSON MOVIE: Movie-goers will soon have the opportunity to view the film “Paterson” in the same city where it was set and shot.

DRUG USER TOPPLES CLOTHING: A heroin user caught shooting up in a Willowbrook Mall bathroom led police on a chase through Lord & Taylor, knocking over clothing racks, before they caught him and an associate, authorities said Thursday.
