The black and white scenic photo was displayed in the middle of a crowded street festival, he told Daily Voice, and he just had to have it.
He purchased it, and thought, “One day, I want to make this kind of photo,” he said.
Lee soon enrolled in photography school, and has been creating beautiful, award-wining photographs ever since.
His photographs – which depict his love of nature -- are displayed in corporations, hospitals and private residences throughout the world.
For a short time, his work is also being displayed at the Totowa Public Library.
A collection of Lee’s photos, entitled “Symphony of Color,” can be viewed at the library through November 1. The collection features photographs available for purchase, and Lee is donating profits from the sales to the Totowa Public Library and the St. James of the Marches Church.
Lee has traveled the world for his work, and focuses on majestic landscapes and waterscapes. He often visits locations numerous times, and spends hours waiting for the perfect light.
“I capture the appropriate moment light and shadow blends by turning into my intuition and emotion. At that moment breathing stops and my soul starts dancing,” he states on his website. “When you adequately control the essence of photography, light and shadow, whether it be black and white or color, solar energy is the most precious gift on earth.”
