Totowa Library Sets Mindfulness Workshops For Students

TOTOWA, N.J. -- Break out those mats, a series of yoga-based, mindfulness workshops have been scheduled in Totowa.

"Mondays with Mercedes," a yoga-based mindfulness class, is open to college and high school students at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Public Library in Totowa, N.J.

“Mondays with Mercedes” is open to all college and high school students.

The workshops will take place at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library from 7:30-8:15 p.m. on June 27; July 11, 18 and 25; and Aug. 1 and 8.

They will be led by Mercedes Murphy, a theater director and dancer who has also worked as a stylist in the music and fashion business.

She was resident director of the New Opera and Musical Theater Initiative in Boston and is the founder and artistic director of Théâtre Trouvé.

Registration is not required.

The library is located at 537 Totowa Road.
