Rutt's Hut In Clifton Rips The Competition In 'DVlicious Hot Dog Contest'

CLIFTON, N.J. -- It was a tight race in our "DVlicious Best Hot Dogs in Passaic County" -- close to 2,000 votes cast -- but Rutt's Hut in Clifton grabbed the lead, winning by 53 percent.

The eatery, known for its rippers and relish -- see earlier Daily Voice story HERE -- was closely followed by The Hot Grill, also in Clifton, with 43 percent.

Thanks to all who voted -- and kept the rest of us guessing.

The popular eatery, which already won the DVlicious "Best Fries" award, will receive a framed DVlicious certificate and bragging rights to being "top dog."
