According to a report on Northjersey.com, Paterson’s only movie theater, the Fabian 8, will be showing the film for a week starting on Friday, Jan. 27.
“It’s phenomenal that we’re getting it. The movie puts Paterson on the map. This is the best place to come see it,” Ekaterina Valiotis, manager of the Center City Mall, where the Fabian is located, told Northjersey.com.
In the movie, Adam Driver stars as a bus driver named Paterson. He drives his route, observes the city out his windshield and listens to the conversations of passengers.
Locals should recognize Paterson most clearly at the Great Falls and at the NJ Transit bus depot on Market Street, according to Producer Joshua Astrachan.
