Little Falls' Anxiety And Depression Initiative Holds Hike In Mahwah

LITTLE FALLS, N.J. -- The Anxiety and Depression Initiative, of Little Falls, will be hosting a hike on Saturday, April 2, at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation 608 Ramapo Valley Rd, Mahwah.

The Anxiety and Depression Initiative promotes an active and healthy lifestyle to mitigate anxiety and depression.

The group's mission is to help promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle for those living with acute, or chronic, anxiety and depression. The hike will loop through the Ramapo Valley County Reservation, which will check out the gorgeous terrain and scenic views.

The hike is rated as "moderate intensity." You should be properly dressed for a hike: long pants, a long-sleeve shirt and hiking boots are recommended. Bring water and snacks, and a backpack to carry them.

The event is from 10 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. Park in the parking lot and meet the group at 10 a.m. sharp under the gazebo with the chimney coming out of it. This event will be held only if the weather cooperates: if it's canceled, participants will be notified through a Meetup email.
