A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition following a crash before dawn on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in the Lincoln Tunnel, authorities said. According to Port Authority spokeswoman Lenis Valens, the motorcyclist crashed around 3:50 a.m. in the center tube's two westbound lanes. The operator was hospitalized in critical condition. A crash involving two tractor-trailers and two passenger vehicles closed a portion of Route 80 early Wednesday, Aug. 21, police said. Troopers responded to the crash in the eastbound lanes at milepost 37.6 in Rockaway Township around 8:15 a.m., Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Minor injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.
