Troopers responded to the crash in the eastbound lanes at milepost 37.6 in Rockaway Township around 8:15 a.m., Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Minor injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.

One person was injured in a three-car crash on Route 80 in Parsippany on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. At 11:52 a.m., troopers responded to Route 80 eastbound at mile 42 for the collision between three passenger vehicles, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Tractor Trailer Driver, 22, Airlifted In Route 80 Crash
The driver of a tractor trailer was airlifted to the hospital in a Route 80 crash early Friday, July 12 in Warren County, police said. The 22-year-old Lodi, CA man was heading east when he ran off the left side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, went into a ditch, and collided with a tree just after 6:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The unnamed man sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and there was no further information.

A loose dog was a little overzealous on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, May 28, authorities said. Troopers responded to a report of a dog running on Route 80 eastbound in Allamuchy Township, Jeffrey Lebron a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. When troopers and civilians tried to capture the dog, they were bitten, Lebron said. The troopers and civilians suffered minor injuries, Lebron said. Speeding Route 80 Driver From Paterson Had 20 Pounds Of Cocaine, Nebraska State Troopers Say
A Paterson driver who was stopped for speeding on Route 80 in Nebraska was caught with 20 pounds of cocaine, state troopers said. Pablo Suruy Hernandez, 40, had the coke stashed in various compartments of his BMW X5 when he was stopped in York County around noontime Saturday, March 23, according to the Nebraska State Patrol. Hernandez remained held Tuesday in the York County Jail, some 1,300 miles from Paterson. He's charged with both possession and possession with the intent to deliver the drugs.

A 27-year-old Rockaway man was seriously injured after a two-car crash caused his vehicle to overturn on Route 80 on Thursday, March 21, authorities said. At 7:34 p.m., on Route 80 west in Roxbury Township, a Ford vehicle collided with the back of a Dodge, ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the Ford suffered serious injuries and was medevacked to an area hospital, McNair said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, McNair said.
