Bensalem Man Arrested For Deadly Philadelphia Crash: Police A 41-year-old Bensalem man is accused of fatally hitting a pedestrian in Philadelphia, authorities say. Christopher Sorensen was arrested in Kensington on Wednesday, July 31, Philadelphia police said in a release. Sorensen was driving east on Allegheny Avenue when he struck Christopher Cabrera near Frankford Avenue on July 17, according to investigators. Cabrera, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene. Shots Fired During 'Ding Dong Ditch' Prank In Lehigh Valley: Police An Upper Mount Bethel resident fired a gun while being pranked on Tuesday night, July 30, according to state police. A group of "juveniles" were reportedly playing "ding dong ditch" on Summerfield Drive around 10:30 p.m., troopers wrote in a release. Kathryn Frankel, 41, is charged with arson, criminal mischief, and related counts, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday, July 31. Tips Sought In Coatesville Man's 1975 Murder State police continue to investigate the killing of Wasyl Towber. Towber, of Coatesville, was 41 years old when authorities found his body in Brandywine Creek on July 16, 1975, troopers said in a release. His remains were located just north of Dowlin Forge Road in East Brandywine Township and showed "numerous injuries," authorities said. Towber's manner of death has been ruled homicide.
