The Whippany mom died on Oct. 13. She was 21 years old.
A Facebook page remembering Kaydee had amassed dozens of condolences and photos as of Wednesday morning.
"When I moved to Whippany, not everyone was as accepting and as willing to share their friends with me as Kaydee was," Brianna Rios wrote.
"She always made sure I felt included and made sure that I knew that she would be there for me if I needed someone."
Toni Moran remembered Kaydee similarly.
"I remember meeting you in kindergarten at the park on the giraffe bench like it was this morning," she wrote.
"When I had no friends in elementary school to sit with at lunch and I'd sit alone everyday, you’d force me to come sit with your friends at the peanut free table so i wouldn’t be alone❤️ "
Born in Morristown, Kaydee graduated Whippany Park High School in 2016. She had been a student at the County College of Morris when she died, her obituary says.
She had a passion for the arts: Photography, writing and singing.
Kaydee also loved the beach and swimming.
"She had a big heart and loved everyone," her obituary says.
Kaydee is survived by her son, Kayden; parents Richard and Kara; grandparents John and Ann McCarthy and Richard and Sandy Alexander; along with countless relatives and friends.
"Kaydee touched each one of our hearts in a very special way during her life," said Kimmy Hughes, who founded the Facebook page for Kaydee.
"This page is a place to go to share photos and memories of the times you shared with her and comfort one another as we morn the loss of a great friend, daughter and mother. Rest In Peace our beautiful Kaydee. 👼🏻💔"
