Sparta Man Gets 5 Years For Role In Morris, Sussex, Bergen Coke/Pot Ring
A Sparta man must spend the next two years in state prison before he’ll be eligible for parole for his role in a drug distribution ring.
A judge in Morristown on Friday sentenced Samuel J. Rozynski to five years, with the two-year parole ineligibility requirement, for his March 2 guilty plea to having cocaine and pot for sale, money laundering and conspiracy.
Rozynski also forfeited what authorities said was $329,000 drug proceeds seized from him during simultaneous raids in Sparta, Cliffside Park and Parsippany this past Jan. 29.

Two people – one from Sparta, the other Cliffside Park -- were busted with 37 pounds of pot, three-quarters of a pound of cocaine, some guns and more than $300,000 in drug money, capping a lengthy investigation in Morris, Sussex and Bergen counties, authorities said.
Samuel J. Rozynski, 44, of Sparta faces the most serious charges, including a variety of drug and weapons possession counts and money laundering, following raids Wednesday in Sparta, Cliffside Park and Parsippany, they said.

The New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency and Sussex County Prosecutor's Office were notified after a Sparta man threw a 14-year-old girl in his care to the ground and stomped on her ankle, causing swelling and bruising, a recent report says.
Logan Kylish, 36, was arrested Saturday, two days after the incident, and charged via a complaint warrant with child endangerment, abandonment, cruelty/child neglect and served a disorderly persons offense, the NJHerald reports.
