Wawa To Break Ground In Sussex County
Wawa will be breaking ground in Sussex County on Dec. 10 for the opening of their newest location, NJ Advance Media reports. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wawa will happen at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Route 15 and Route 206 in Frankford Township. The store will occupy the former space of The Chatterbox, an iconic New Jersey drive-in restaurant that shut down three years ago and was demolished in March 2021. After years of planning, a long-awaited New Jersey Wawa store is hours away from opening its doors. The Plainfield location will open at 1470 South Ave., at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, NJ.com reports. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 customers, and all customers will get free coffee through Sunday, Dec. 5. Two tornadoes have been confirmed as touching down in parts of Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service said. An EF-1 tornado was confirmed in Bucks and Montgomery Counties early Thursday. Prosecutor: NJ Drug Dealer Indicted In Woman's OD Death, Fentanyl In System Was 5X Lethal Dose
A Burlington County drug dealer was indicted on charges stemming from a woman's fatal overdose in 2019, authorities said. Antoine Crawley, 35, of Pemberton's Sunbury Village section, was charged by a grand jury in the death of 27-year-old Brittney Wallace, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. An autopsy found that the fentanyl level in Wallace's system was more than five times the lethal dose, authorities said. A 36-year-old former camp counselor from Burlington County has admitted possessing more than 1,000 images of child pornography, authorities said. A 43-year-old hospital janitor has been arrested for arranging to have sex with a 14-year-old girl in a Burlington County motel, authorities said.
