The Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to the one-vehicle crash on Cokesbury Road shortly in Tewksbury Township after 9:05 p.m. and found the driver trapped inside with serious injuries.
Emergency crews used a series of rescue equipment to extricate the driver, who was then flown to a trauma center via Atlantic Air Ambulance.
Assisting at the scene include the Lebanon Fire Company, the Tewksbury Township Police Department, and Hunterdon Mobile Intensive Care Unit EMS2 paramedics.
“All agencies worked as a team to provide the best possible outcome for the patient,” said the TFARS.
