Morris County District Was Mistakenly Ranked On ‘Top 100 Schools In NJ’ List, Report Says
One Morris County school district was mistakenly ranked on U.S. News’ list of the best high schools in the state for 2021, a new report says. While several Morris districts made the cut, Dover Superintendent James McLaughlin says his district's high school, which ranked 99th, was listed due to “faulty data,” DailyRecord reports. U.S. News Ranks New Jersey 12th Best State
In our hearts, New Jersey might be the best state but according to U.S. News, there are 11 others ahead of us. The Garden State shines for its education, health care, opportunity and crime/corrections, according to the website's annual report. New Jerseyans earn a median income of $40,567 and 46 percent of residents are college-educated. The state was ranked at No. 49 for fiscal stability (yikes), Illinois at 50.
