A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged after he struck a police officer while fleeing on Sunday, Oct. 20, authorities said. While officers were conducting a traffic stop on Indian Road, it was discovered the driver, Liam Harrigan, had an active NCIC Warrant out of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Denville police said. A 13-year-old girl and her father were hospitalized after being struck by a bus in Rahway on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. At 8:23 p.m., the two were crossing the intersection when they were struck by the NJ Transit bus, which was turning from Elizabeth Avenue onto West Scott Avenue, Rahway police said.
