Support Rises For Victims Of Three-Alarm Morris County Fire Seven people were rescued when a three-alarm fire that engulfed a home on Boonton on Saturday, Dec. 16, firefighters said. At 11:15 p.m., firefighters said they were dispatched to structure fire on the 100 block of Mechanic Street and found four adults, two children and a 7-month-old trapped on the second floor. Ladders were thrown up to the second floor and the occupants were safely removed from the structure and the fire was eventually placed under control, firefighters said.  A fundraiser has been launched by Megan Iwaski, who lived in the home with her 7-month old daughter.  …

13 Displaced, 2 Firefighters Injured In Massive Bayonne House Fire Two firefighters were injured, two cats were rescued and 13 people were displaced by a three-alarm Bayonne house fire Wednesday. Flames shot out of the home at 126 W. 27th St., around 3:40 p.m., and had spread to both adjacent buildings, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. An occupant was treated by McCabe EMS at the scene while two firefighters were treated at the hospital and released, officials said.
