Roselle Man Points Loaded 'Ghost Gun' At Driver In Cranford Road Rage Incident, Police Say
A 37-year-old Roselle man was in police custody after pointing a loaded, illegal firearm at another driver in a road rage incident Thursday evening, authorities in Cranford said. Alexander Truzzolino, of Roselle, was stopped in white Ford van at Springfield Avenue and Lafayette Place, where a confrontation ensued around 8:05 p.m., Cranford police said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Cranford Crash
A pedestrian was struck and killed in an early-morning crash Tuesday in Cranford, authorities said. The pedestrian was crossing Springfield Avenue when they were struck by a 51-year-old Kenilworth man heading south and approaching Orange Avenue, in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, local police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, where they later died. The Hyundai driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. : Missing Man With Dementia Located, Cranford PD Says
UPDATE: The man was found safe Oct. 29, Cranford police said Police in Cranford are looking for a 56-year-old man with dementia last seen nearly a week ago. Jean Elize of Hillside was last seen walking north on Springfield Avenue at Penn Road in Cranford around noon on Tuesday. He was wearing a light-green jacket, gray pants and a light-brown hat. He is black, 5'7", 180 lbs. and has short black hair and brown eyes (see photo, attached). He does not know the area and speaks Creole.
