Man Killed In Fatal Jersey Motorcycle Crash: Authorities
A 43-year-old Jersey City resident was killed in a fatal crash in Jersey City on Thursday, Oct. 31, authorities said. At 8:55 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1&9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Responding officers found the motorcycle and a GMC passenger vehicle collided near the intersection, Suarez said. Jersey City Man Charged With Assault After Car Crash: Prosecutors
A 45-year-old Jersey City man was arrested and charged after his vehicle struck another car at a high rate of speed, authorities said. Patrick Gapasin was traveling north on Routes 1 and 9 when his Infinity Q60 collided with a Honda Accord at 7:55 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Sip Avenue intersection, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The man who landed on a BMW in a 9-story fall from a Jersey City highrise in October 2021 has been released from the hospital, officials said.
