Bloomfield Woman, 26, Shot Dead In Newark Supermarket: Prosecutor A 26-year-old Bloomfield woman was shot and killed in a Newark supermarket on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. Nakiyyah Blue was found unresponsive having suffered gunshot wounds in the store on the 300 block of South 7th Street around 8:45 p.m., Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. First responders rendered aid, but Blue was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:57 p.m.  Sidi Supermarket appears to be the only grocery store on the block where Blue was killed. Seen HIM? Police Search For Man Wanted For Newark Gas Station Armed Robbery Authorities are seeking the public's help locating a man who they say robbed a gas station in Newark. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Michael Brodie, 28, who police say pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded cash at Sidi Supermarket (584 Orange St.) on Monday, Jan. 13. Brodie, who was wearing a Halloween mask, stole $150 from the cash register before fleeing on foot, police say. Brodie, pictured above, is 6 feet tall and 240 pounds, police say. He has a medium-brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Brodie’s dreadlock hairstyle has been cut, and he now has an afro, police …
