Three North Jersey business owners admitted importing and selling cheap knockoffs of Cisco Systems networking equipment after federal agents seized an unprecedented $14 million worth of the devices from their warehouse in Passaic County.

While no one won the big $1 billion Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday, August 1, not everyone left emptyhanded.
Two tickets sold in Bergen County and one ticket sold in Hudson County matched four of the white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, netting the lucky winners $10,000.
The tickets were sold at U&B Mini Market in Garfield, a 7-Eleven in Teaneck and TE-AMO in Secaucus.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, August 1, drawing were: 08, 24, 30, 45, and 61. The Gold Mega Ball was 12, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

A drug dealer was found with prescription pills, a stolen handgun, and suspected drug money at the Red Roof Inn in Secaucus Thursday night, July 27, police said.
Police initially saw Ridgefield's Anthony Cuccia sell a 24-year-old Maywood resident 10 Oxycodone Pills, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
Officers investigated further and arrested 26-year-old Cuccia, after searching his room at the Red Roof Inn, Miller said.

Four people were arrested in Secaucus on Wednesday, July 19 and found with $74,000 worth of fentanyl and cocaine, authorities said.
Franklin Rodriguez-Liberto, a 40-year-old Jersey City resident, Richard Pena-Rodriguez, a 37-year-old Union City resident, Steven Reyes, a 44-year-old North Bergen resident and Christopher Delacruz, a 24-year-old New York resident, were arrested, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

Three people were were arrested outside a hotel in Secaucus on Saturday, July 16 and charged with possessing two handguns and a large quantity of drugs, including 35 bags of heroin, authorities said.
At 10:20 a.m., the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit was patrolling the area near Extended Stay Hotel when they observed a drug deal, Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Police then stopped one of the cars involved in the drug deal and saw a digital scale used to weigh narcotics, Miller said.
