Man Killed In Fatal Jersey Motorcycle Crash: Authorities A 43-year-old Jersey City resident was killed in a fatal crash in Jersey City on Thursday, Oct. 31, authorities said. At 8:55 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1&9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two Dead After Car Fleeing Police Strikes Taxi: State AG A police encounter turned deadly on Sunday, Dec. 10 in Elizabeth, after a car fleeing officers crashed into a taxi, killing the driver and passenger, authorities said. At 5:42 a.m., police responded to a report of gunfire near Fourth and Center Street, the state attorney general's office said.
