A troubled Bergen County woman wanted in Pennsylvania for harassing and threatening an animal rescue there was arrested by River Vale police during an eviction. Catherine DeLucia, 56, “was uncooperative and refused to comply” with Bergen County sheriff's officers and local police trying to remove her from the Collignon Way home, River Vale Lt. A 63-year-old mechanic from River Vale was arrested Thursday on child porn charges, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella confirmed. John DeFilippo was taken into custody by members of the prosecutor’s Cyber Crimes Unit during a June 8 raid at his Westwood Avenue home, Musella said. The investigators had found that DeFilippo “used the Internet to view, download, and possess items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children,” the prosecutor said. A popular Hillsdale firefighter was found dead in his SUV Thursday in the upper Hackensack River in River Vale after apparently suffering a heart attack, responders said. An unemployed man who lives across the street from Midland Park Junior Senior High School was caught with more than 250 images of child pornography, authorities said.
