The real estate company that manages a Bergenfield housing complex has agreed to pay $30,000 to an applicant who was denied an apartment because he planned to pay a portion of his rent with federal housing assistance, state authorities said. The manager of a Bergenfield housing complex rejected a potential tenant who planned to pay rent with federal Section 8 housing assistance, violating New Jersey's civil rights law, state authorities charged. A New Jersey referee who forced a high school wrestler to cut his hair before a match was suspended for the next two seasons, authorities announced Wednesday. Attorney General Gurbir S.
