An undercover drug bust led to the arrest of one man from Pennsylvania, and two from New Jersey for dealing fentanyl, authorities said. The Palmer Township's Crime Reduction Unit initiated an undercover investigation that resulted in the seizure of 502 suspected fentanyl pills and a handgun, police said in a press statement released on Friday, Sept. 20. Lehigh Valley Police Officer Attacked While Responding To Break-In Call, Report Says
A Lehigh Valley police officer was attacked while responding to a break-in call last week, LehighValleyLive reports. Allentown resident Isaiah Dion Mosley, 29, tried to break through the door of an apartment on the 2300 block of Main Street in Northampton Borough around 3 p.m. Friday, the outlet said citing court records. He then lunged at responding Officer Geoffrey Perry, punching him in the head and choking him, the report said. A Lehigh Valley man was working as a high school teacher when he had sex with a 17-year-old student numerous times over the course of more than a year, state police charged. Eric Michael Hahn, of South Whitehall Township, engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl while working as a teacher at Bangor Area High School starting in October 2019, state police said. The ex-girlfriend of a Phillipsburg man hid in the bathroom on a Pennsylvania inn to call 911 after he kidnapped and assaulted her during what she thought was a meeting about possibly getting back together, authorities said. A 4-year-old girl found wandering alone in the hotel lobby of a Pennsylvania casino went looking for the 26-year-old Hunterdon County woman who had left her alone so she could gamble, police said.
