NJ Man Gets Prison Time For Fatal Crash In Stolen Car During Police Chase: Prosecutor
A 21-year-old driver was sentenced to 12 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal crash during a police chase, authorities said.
Samuel Villar, of Somerset, was sentenced on Tuesday, Dec. 5 in connection with the November 2022 Old Bridge accident that killed 33-year-old Arturo Tlapa Luna, of Freehold, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Old Bridge Acting Police Chief, Donald F. Fritz, Jr. said.

US Marshals Help Nab Newark Trio In Auto Thefts, Central Jersey Burglaries
Three men from Newark were arrested by U.S. Marshals and local police in Monmouth County on multiple burglary and vehicle theft charges, authorities said.
Dasean Lewis, 24, Christopher Leake, 19, and Nahji Mayes, 23, targeted vehicles left unlocked with key fobs inside, Marlboro police said.
Marlboro Police Department was assisted by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in the arrest of Lewis and Mayes. Leake was jailed on other charges when he was arrested, police said.
All three were being held in Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold.
