On Monday, April 1 at 1 p.m., a man met up with a woman on the 100 block of Avon Avenue after she offered to sell him a car, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Bloomfield Man Wanted For Questioning In Newark Double Shooting Police in Newark are seeking the public's help in locating a Bloomfield man wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that injured two men. Avery Solomon, 22, is wanted in connection with the Jan. 29 incident on the 100 block of Jelliff Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose. Police responded to a call of shots fired around 11:50 p.m., when they discovered that two men had been hospitalized with gunshot wounds following an argument, Ambrose said.
