The search for a missing man ended in tragedy on Friday, June 7, when police found he'd died by suicide in a popular New Jersey hiking area. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Sourland Mountain Preserve around 3:05 p.m. after Somerset County dispatch was notified by Princeton police that a man had gone missing, Hillsborough Police Sgt. Multiple Car Crash Leaves One Person Dead In Somerset County
One person died in a Somerset County crash early Thursday, Oct. 20, authorities said. The accident happened around 6:40 a.m. at Marshall and Amwell roads, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. No further information was released. The investigation is currently ongoing pending the results of the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team’s findings. The New Jersey Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has been notified. Authorities: Man Robbed At Knifepoint In Hillsborough Home Invasion, 2 Jailed
Two men were being held in the Somerset County Jail in connection with a knifepoint home invasion, authorities said. A man at a Bloomingdale Drive home called 9-1-1 around 2:45 p.m. June 17, to report the incident, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a release with local police. Authorities: NJ Mom Set Apartment On Fire Then Fled With 3 Kids To Perth Amboy
A Hillsborough mom was charged with intentionally starting three fires inside of her apartment before fleeing the scene to Perth Amboy with her three kids, authorities said.
