NJ Woman Left Child Locked In Vehicle At Wegman's In Below Freezing Temps: Police A 42-year-old Rockaway woman was arrested and charged on Monday, Dec. 23 after leaving a child unattended, locked in a vehicle, authorities said. Officers responded to Wegmans at 34 Sylvan Way in Whippany and found the child locked in the vehicle, the Hanover Township Police Department said. The high that day was 27 degrees. Tatiana Petrina was charged with child abandonment and released with a court date, police said. The child was unharmed during the incident, police said.

Suspicious Man At Rt. 10 Assisted Living Center Brings Full-Scale Police Investigation: Update A search for a suspicious man who was allegedly spotted by a worker at an assisted living center on Route 10 initiated a full-scale police investigation, authorities said. Police in Hanover responded to Weston Assisted Living at 905 Rt. 10 in Whippany just after 7:25 p.m. after receiving a call from a worker about a suspicious man that had entered the building, the department said in a press release.
