A member of a drug ring that trafficked large quantities of heroin and cocaine into the Bayshore areas of Monmouth and Middlesex counties must spend the next 7½ years in federal prison. Daniel McHugh, 51, of Sayreville on Wednesday became the latest member of the ring sentenced in U.S. District Court in Trenton in connection with a federally-led sweep. Couple Admit Roles In Ring That Trafficked Fentanyl-Laced Heroin Into Raritan Bayshore
A Pennsylvania man admitted in federal court in Trenton that he participated in a drug ring that trafficked major quantities of heroin and cocaine into the Raritan Bayshore area. Guy Jackson, 47, was the 10th defendant snagged in a federal sweep to plead guilty in exchange for leniency at sentencing. The 11th is his wife, Lashawn Mealing, 48, who admitted trying to destroy evidence in the case.
