Man Arrested For Writing 'Free Palestine' On Hoboken Synagogue: Authorities A 26-year-old Hoboken man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, July 31 with writing "Free Palestine" in graffiti on a synagogue last week, authorities said. Staff at United Synagogue of Hoboken at 115 Park Ave. found the "Free Palestine" graffiti in green lettering on a cement ledge on the early morning of Wednesday, July 24, a spokesperson for the City of Hoboken said. An investigation found Daniel Estreicher was the perpetrator and he turned himself into police, authorities said. Swastika, Graffiti Scrawled In Seven Spots Across Montclair Park A swastika and vulgar graffiti found at a Montclair playground is being investigated by authorities. A resident found the graffiti while walking through Edgemont Park last week, noting seven different sections marked with pictures and phrases, police said. "Among the images was a swastika in black marker," authorities said in a statement. "The images and phrases were removed by officers on scene with the assistance of the Department of Public Works." The incidents remain under investigation.
